10 days to go…
The countdown begins! There are just 10 days to go until Linux Voice issue 1 is released. If you’re a subscriber from issue 1 onwards (ie you bought your subscription before the 16th of February), you’ll get an email on the 27th of February telling you how to download your issue. If you bought a print subscription, you should get your copy early next week (UK subscribers) or a bit later if you’re overseas, with the time depending on your distance from the UK.
If you want to buy Linux Voice on the newsstands, you’ll be able to find it on the 27th in these shops in the British Isles:
- WHSmith (high street stores)
- Sainsbury’s
- Morrisons
- Martin’s/McColl’s
- Easons (Ireland)
…along with many independent newsagents. If you’re overseas, we’re shipping copies to newsagents in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and Sweden. (No USA at the moment unfortunately, but we’re working on that for issue 2.)

To be precise…I bought the digital sub via indiegogo..but I really want issue number 1 on paper!!!!
I'll try to get information on specific newsagents in Sweden. It's a bit complex (our distributor sends the mags to another distributor in Sweden, who then makes deals with newsagents) but I'll see what I can do. Thanks for supporting us!

Yay! I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.
Can’t wait for my first issue – can’t see any way* that it can be anything other than awesome! Think there needs to be some kind of fanfare when it gets delivered, not just plopping onto the doormat.
(* unless the printers print it backwards, or with ink made of recycled cow dung, etc)

My copy of issue one just showed up today, which was a welcome surprise as I didn’t think I’d have it in time for the weekend – great service guys!

Why do us Digital subscribers have to wait longer than those folks who bought a printed version?
Hi! The official on sale date (when the mag hits the UK newsstands) is the 27th of February. To keep everything in sync, that’s when we’ll email digital subscribers as well. Thanks for being patient!
