Bitwig Studio video
After extensively reviewing Bitwig Studio in the soon-to-be-released issue three of Linux Voice, our audio-geek-in-residence (Graham) has made a video showing how to get the best out of this music-making software. It’s also useful for people looking to get to know a bit more about Jack, the audio glue that holds some of Linux’s best sound software together.

Wow! I wish I were 50 years younger. In my day I used a single microphone into a simple single track mono tape deck, loads of sellotape and a sharp razor!
A beautiful bit of software well out of my league…and out of my budget. For me though the best thing about this software though is that it is and excellent demonstration that commercial cross platform programming of a complex utility is possible. Why then should any modern application be constrained to just Windows?
Awesome – I also wish I were 20 years younger. It’s still a bit of dream to get back into electronic music, at the moment I just listen to it. I used to spend hours dabbling on OctaMED and made some stuff I’m still quite happy with.

Thanks for your relentless attempts to bring music production to Linux. There are a few people out there who appreciate it.
On a similar note, I came across this link today for a DAW that has native Linux support and currently you can get it for the bargain price of £12:

Interestingly, although it has cross platform support, only the Linux version has a native 64-bit release!
I haven’t tried it yet but a few friends rate it.
this looks great, but you can still make music with old technologies; it might make your music stand out from all the DAW users music and get you noticed too!
