OpenSSL, the SSL/TLS protocol used for lots of secure online connections, has been forked by the OpenBSD team to create LibreSSL. A security bug has been found in Internet Explorer 6 – 11 which won’t be fixed for Windows XP. Ubuntu 14.04 has been released. Canonical may drop Ubuntu for Android (or it could be in ‘limbo’).

That looks awesome. The last time I fell off my bike was when I got my laces wrapped around the peddal. I’ll have to re-thread them.
